Ropat, you're setting puzzles that few Europeans will solve ! That's Carlos Zatuszek in his Mercedes-Benz SSKL. He came 2nd in the Argentinian championship in 1936.
Sorry, I meant third place. My Spanish again!

I really thought this one would be easy, because Zatuszek and his car are very well know all over the world.
You are correct, that is Austrian-Polish-Ukrainian born Carlos Zatuzsek, one of Argentina's most famous race car drivers, unfortunately he was killer in this same car in 1937, but you haven't the car quite right, your'e almost there, only one letter away.
Language shouldn't be a problem because plenty has been written in English, about the driver and the car.
So locked for nicanary.

There was no information of the car, so I had to guess. It must be an SSK.
-
Yes it's a SSK, but with a SSKL engine. Zatuszek managed to purchase a brand new SSKL engine direct from Mercedes Benz and this is on the factory records.

there's no problem with country-specified puzzles. E.g. I am trying to increase the number of Turkish cars on the site :)

I agree - I wasn't complaining, just frustrated by the time it took me to solve the puzzle. I've now found an excellent and interesting Argentinian website for future reference.

I know, it's like a drug. I go to work at 4.30pm, set the laptop to hibernate, and switch on again in bed at 11.30pm. Mornings I check my e-mails, check e-bay for anything I collect, and then I'm straight to this site to see what's been moved to Experts. I'm terrified in case an easy one has been moved and another puzzler has got it right. I really must see a shrink.
