Year, make and model. An easy one for the Rookies.

Hi, Standard or Calcott. Body not like Calcott. Taper of the top of the bonnet behind the rad cap is bit Minerva-like and very much Standard Nine of cca 1927 but that had horizontal louvers ?? This has vertical louvers. Then found it being a 1928 sports 2-seater.  Regards Vintman

A very circuitous way of solving the puzzle! Yes, it's a 1928 Standard 9 Light Sports Roadster. I think in this photo it's taking part in one of those reliabilty trials that used to be held on the perimeter roads at Brooklands.
