Make, model, year of this beauty to receive a point.
What about a ride on this charming roadster?
Lancia by Stabilimenti Farina?
Not a Lancia and not by Stabilimenti Farina.
Simca??
Not a Simca.
Fiat ?
This reminds me of the DKW F91/Sonderklasse/3=6. Coachbuilt roadster perhaps?
Neither a Fiat nor a DKW.
Ok, how about a 1948 EMW (Eisenachen Motor Werken) 340 Cabriolet?
This was one of two prototype sports convertibles.
That's it...the correct name is EMW 340/1 sportwagen prototype. A very beautiful car, I think it's a sin they didn't produced it.
A point for you.
We had a beautiful clay model of it as a puzzle before: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=1856.0

I shouldn't argue, but in the book "Meilensteine aus Eisenach" the authors (Reiche & Stück) tell us that the EMW name dates from June 1952 and as the BMW/EMW 340 dates from 1949 I'd say the clay and the first cars were BMW ;D
In other words the prototype was built by
BMW at Eisenach (in the Russian zone of Germany)
You are absolutely right, Allan. The correct name is Awtowelo BMW 340-1.
Some more views of this unique car, now with a convertible top and windscreen:
 Does anyone know if this car still exists ?
I only know of a clay model that was located in the Wartburg Museum in Eisenach more than 10 years ago...
In Wolfgang Melenk's book it is stated that the car was destroyed in an accident during the making of the "Rivalen am Steuer" movie.
