Title: Solved TGF-80: Renault R2061 Charbonneaux for Letourneur & Marchand, 1952
Post by: targhediferro on March 19, 2013, 03:27:39 PM
To all rookies: I decided to leave my quiz in your section for three days only.  Then, if nobody will try to guess and show to walk on the right path, I'll move them to Experts.

Can you identify this commercial?  Make, model, coachbuilder, year, and would be nice to know what it was used to advertise.

Ok, thank you. Unlocked.
A little clue: the coachbuilder is well known and he dressed a lot of beautiful cars.

Well, it wasn't completely off.  I found this photo of an autograph-seeker amongst the hundreds of TdF photos I searched.   ::)

I think I may have stumbled on the answer while making another search.

Renault R 2061 designed by Phillipe Charbonneaux.
Body by Letourneur & Marchand.
Tour de France, 1952

While I do not recognize the logo, the site said it was advertising Coca Cola.

Bill

It is Charbonneaux not Charbonneax in the title... just for the sake of keeping "search" clean
