What about an Opel Calais sold in either Malasia or Singapore?
They were virtual twins to the concurrent Holden Commodore.

Methinks I did not dig deep enough Bube.

Opel based and I suspect pretty much the same vehicle but the Royale was a higher level of trim.  We will have to wait for Thor..............

No problem Amico Mio.............

Thanks to your question/quiz, I now know more about Daewoo than I ever did before and I am amazed at the very large range of vehicles they made/make.

What little I knew about the brand was primarily econo cars that were exported to developing countries and of course to the US.

This sort of reminds me of when I was travelling on business (the car business, I was employed by Volvo and SAAB in those years) in the 1970's and 1980's to countries like Japan and Taiwan where I saw many, many luxury vehicles that were pretty much unknown outside of those countries as they were not exported.

The same was true when I lived in Peru for a couple of years and travelled extensively throughout the region.  So many vehicles made for the local market that never were exported and are so little known even today.

Grazia for the challenge even if I missed by a little bit.
