All I know of this car is its maker and name as well as its engine size.
But I would guess that it is post-war. Whether it ever participated in a racing series and in which one, I don't know.

It was in my old "A Day At The Races" puzzle and I had it filed as "1936 Datsun Midget Racer"

Yuichi Ohta had a long association with Nissan, and he was the designer of the Datsun DC-3 and the Datsun S211 sports cars.
This car however was not a Nissan product, it was Yuichi's own project, though it did have a Datsun engine.
