1937 peugeot 402 cabriolet by pourtout
It is a Peugeot 402 Cabriolet, but by a different coachbuilder.

That's the identification I have found on several websites and particulary on coachbuild.com.
The only detail I don't precise is "Darlmat" but Darlmat is not a coachbuilder.
I know that this car is often referred to as being a Pourtout, but there is evidence that this assumption is wrong. You have to dig deeper I guess.

I think that I found the same source where you have your information from. The car is a Peugeot 402 Cabriolet by ACB, Mr. Maurice Broual. In the '90s the car got a different front, see attached pic
Yes, that seems to be the long and the short of it. But Pourtout sounds much better than ACB (and brings more money when you sell the car ;) ).
One point for you.
And the definitive version :
Yes, and I knew that the headlight placement of the Jaguar XK 120 was just a copy of Pourtout's Peugeot! :lmao:
So we could say that this definitive version is a FAKE...and its value is now much lower than it was when the car was a genuine ACB Peugeot 402!
