Another bus that would have loved to be a car.
For one point, please respond and identify this bus as well as its coachbuilder.
I remember these busses well. This is a DAF bus, probably still fitted with a Hercules petrol engine. The body is by Smit in Joure, Friesland, the Netherlands
You are right with the coachbuilder, as this body was done by Smit Joure, but it is not a DAF.
Locked for you to find the chassis used.
In that case it has been built on a Ford body.
That should be Ford chassis!
Identical body built on a DAF chassis. Only way you can tell the difference is by the tiny DAF badge above the grille. Apart from DAF chassis, which were in their infancy in the early 1950's, Smit Joure built on Ford and Chevrolet chassis up to about 1956. No external distinguishing features between the bodies built on either chassis.

Not a Ford or Chevrolet. You can easily find the puzzle picture (and thus the solution) by googling the coachbuilder. ;)
Still locked for you.

Sorry about posting the link. Won't happen again! :-[ The cassis belongs to Bedford. You should not have had to drag the answer out off me like this. Memory not as sharp as it used to be. :(
Sorry, not a Bedford, but you are in the right country now.
Locked for one more try.
Austin CXD.
Yes, that's the one. So here comes your second point, well done.
