Yes, well done. It is a Hansa 3500, built from 1937 to 1939.

I'm not absolutely sure about the integrated lights. I haven't seen this front on a Hansa 3500 before, but there are only a few pictures of this rare car around. Maybe it is a late one from 1939.

When it occured at this very fine austrian website I was electrified,
because I do not know any other comparable big pre-war Borgward with integrated headlights.

I´ve even contacted several Borgward experts like Peter Kurze last year to get some informations about this very car and they all quit.

Here´s all I have on my HDD. On top are the well known big Borgwards,
at the bottom the three pics of our mystery car.

I´ve found a source that talks of a Hansa 3800, but there´s no photo -
maybe it is an evolution of the 3500 with the free headlights?
