Who needs a windscreen?

For one point, please respond and identify this car, the venue and the driver.

I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Wendax

Neither the car, the venue nor the driver was called so.

Looks like a 1912/'14 Brasier touring.  At this point I have no idea of the venue, or the driver, but, since the people appear to be military, I suspect the photo may be from WWI.

Wendax

Sorry, it isn't a Brasier.

4popoid

1912/'14 Mors touring?

I guess I need to establish if my hunch, that the car is French, is correct.  If so, I'll try a Darracq of about 1912.  If not, it's back to the research files.

Wendax

Sorry, neither car nor venue nor driver are French.

4popoid

I suspected that after two wrong guesses.  I'll now assume it's German, until you advise to the contrary, and call this car a Brennabor from about 1912, although the photo may be later.

Wendax

It is German, but not a Brennabor, and the photo was taken before 1912.

Is the venue in Austria?

I'm intrigued by that flag - it may have tassels on the end. Was this photo taken in Mexico?

Wendax

No Mexican connection

Hi, Lurking in the shadows of the rad sems a badge which would make it a cca 1911 NSU. Perhaps a 10'30 Regards  Vintman

Is it the NSU 8/24 in the 1913 Moscow-Berlin-Paris trial?

Yes, it is a NSU, not exactly a 10/30, but close. Locked for you to find the missing bits.

Not 8/24, not 1913, not Moscow-Berlin-Paris trial.

Hi, Guess it must be the 10'20 NSU then. Physically a big car for anything smaller?? Regards  Vintman
