An easy one for the weekend.

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

This is quite popular in Spain due that it can be driven withot driving license.

Aixam A721 ?

Remember that at AutoPuzzles most oftenly things are not what they seem to be. This car is not an Aixam, althoúgh it is related to it.

Aixam Minauto Eco 400
If you leave that Aixam bit apart, your answer is correct: it is a Minauto eco with a 400 cc engine.
In order to obtain the point, please name two countries where this car was sold as a Minauto. Locked for you.

there have been presentations in Italy and Spain for the GT and Eco versions, so i'll go with those countries.  It is listed on the Aixam site and presented under the Aixam brand so i've always assumed it was an Aixam model.  Is it a separate brand?

Yes, Italy and Spain are the main markets for the Minauto as far as I know. Minauto surely is a part of Aixam-Méga, but a brand of its own. As you can see, it doesn't have the Aixam logo at the grille, but an M for Minauto.

I guess it is an attempt to create a low-price microcar without fearing that the "cheap and primitive" image touches the Aixam marque. Similar things happen with the new Dué brand, being a low-price Microcar.

A well-earned point goes to you.
