Title: Solved: Wendax 827 - Steyr 530
Post by: Wendax on March 04, 2013, 02:33:45 AM
Two puzzle cars for the price of one. This puzzle is mainly about the right car as I don't know anything about the left one.

For one point, please respond and identify the right car. An additional point will be granted for the proven identification of the left one.

Is the car on the right a Railton?

The one on the left has the look of a replicar.

The modern car has certain ID similarities to a mid 1930's Gräf & Stift.

Steyr 530 ?
Yes, that is correct. One point for you.

As I don't have any clue about the replica on the picture I will declare this puzzle solved. However, if anybody can prove what it is, there will be an extra point available.

In the meantime, I found the car and it appears it has been restored.
The photos are too small and cannot be easily duplicated here.

If I am allowed, I can post the link here.

You can see the car in its current state of restoration when you google "Steyr 530 Burg Strechau".

I think this is the restored car in question...please forgive the image quality....I had to settle for a compromise between size and quality and both suffered.

Probably.  The photos were so small that it's hard to tell.
