Somehow the hood and the body don't go together in harmony.

For one point, please respond and identify this bus by naming the chassis and the coachbuilder.

Yes, German bus on a Büssing (or Büssing-NAG) chassis. That was the easy part.

I don't know of any cars bodied by them.
Their main business was buses for sure, but they also were into truck coachbuilding.

I found this firm on a quite affordable site, Kowex Fahrzeugbau, Heilbronn...as it is not the right one, I guess Wankmiller from Heilbronn too...as  I suppose Drauz did also cars.

Sorry, I mixed something up. The coachbuilder in question is in a town almost 200 km south of Heilbronn.
The reason I got this wrong is that there is a village of the same name which is part of the city of Heilbronn, so Google Maps told me that it is just 10 km away.
