O&K Strassenschlepper, ca 1935??
Bill
Yes, it is an Orenstein & Koppel road tractor. It has a model name though. Locked for you to find that one.
All I have seen so far is "28-30 PS".
Bill
I'm looking for a name, an eight-letter word.
You are a hard taskmaster my friend.
2 hours more and I have found several photos of a brochure that uses the same photo and a few more but none give a "name".
I will take a chance on "O&K-Diesel" which has 8 letters plus the & and -.
Bill
Unlock please.
Another half an hour and no result.
Let someone else have a chance.
Bill
Unlocked and open for all experts again.
One hint: the name was used for several products built in one special subsidiary of Orenstein & Koppel.
Dortmund??
Bill
No, the name was not given to the products from their Dortmund factory, but to those from another one.
Berliner?
No
I've found O&K factories in many parts of Germany: Babelsberg, Spandau, Zehlendorf, Tempelhof, Neuendorf, Drewitz, Berlin, Dortmund, Hattingen/Ruhr, Lübeck, all these have more or less than eight letters, but maybe it is Lübecker?
The name we are looking for does not contain the name of a town, it was just given to products from one of the O&K factories. This factory was in a town you didn't mention above.
Montania
Yes! One more point for your rapidly growing collection. ;)
The Montania name was used for products from O & K's Nordhausen plant.
