For one point, provide the make, model, and coachbuilder of this unique auto.
1967 Jaguar Pirana by Bertone, built on an E-Type chassis and commissioned by the Daily Telegraph (sponsors of the London Motor Show where it appeared).
Lamborghini Espada by Marcello Gandini
You are entirely correct, Trommel.
This car already appeared in two other puzzles. But they included tiny, black and white images. I thought it would be nice to see some recent pictures of the car, from a used car lot in the south western U.S.
Sometime during the life of this car, it was changed from a manual transmission to an automatic.
From all the pictures I've seen before, I never knew it was SO much like Espada :o
Wasn't it silver when it featured in the Telegraph magazine? Or am I thinking of another car? 45 years ago is a l_o_n_g time for my aging memory.
You are correct, D-Type. It was previously painted silver.
Here's the second of two interesting interiors.
Providing the make and model would be very helpful!
Moving up!
Jaguar bodied in Italy?
1967 Jaguar Bertone Pirana.
It was originally a manual transmission car, but it was repainted and changed to an automatic by a laterowner (and retrimmed)
Wayne, yes, you're correct. However, I just realized that even the interior image is a repost.
(Albeit a better one than in another puzzle.)

No idea it was a repost, I wasnt even a member in July 2012.
I knew the Pirana had been puzzled, but I never noticed the interior image.
Silly me.
