What body shell was used for this dragster (the Easy Part), who built it, and what name was it given?

Boy I would have loved to see this car take a pass. 8)

It was built in 1961 by Bill Coburn , was called "Iron Mistress", and has a Messersschmitt Cabin scooter body.

Great era of Drag racing, Tommy Ivo, Garlits, Prudhomme,Kallita, early Hemi's all good.

WayneB is mostly correct.  Another man was involved, besides Bill Coburn

LOCKED for WayneB to finish the puzzle

Good enough.  The point goes to WayneB.

Neil Leffler and Bill Coburn took the Hemi engines from their competition coupes, and built the Iron Mistress.  The strange tire arrangement is because, there is one axle used per engine (If I read correctly).
