I: 1936 Humber Snipe and V: Land Rover 109 Series 2 both used 7.50-16 tires.
That's a very nice observation, but Humber and Land Rover don't form a pair in this game, sorry.

ropat53

Sorry I hate doing this twice, first it was Craig and now Wendax, but they aren't locked, so I'll try:

200c - BMW 700 Colani
200g - Hoffmann Hanno 501

Luigi Colani and Thomas Hoffmann are partners in Co-Ho AG Colani & Hoffmann a Swiss based design company.

targhediferro

Another very nice and interesting connection, but I didn't even know about this design company, so the answer is not what I'm waiting for.

200L : Healey Duncan

200c - BMW 700 Colani
200g - Hoffmann Hanno 501 (like BMW 501 ) ?

except she was killed in an Amilcar and there doesn't seem to be an Amilcar on offer.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Well, I know that probably the legend about Isadora Duncan's Death in a Bugatti is not completely affordable, but I though about it when I chose the Bugatti and the Healey Duncan pictures, so SACO got the correct pair.

remember the rule: each Expert is allowed to give an answer each post and must wait for another puzzler gives at least an answer before replaing again.    Anyway it is not right.

Wendax

I'll have another try at the pair 200 C: BMW 700 Colani and G: Hoffmann Hanno 501, although I think that it is too far off. There were variations of the Isetta under the BMW and the Hoffmann brand, although it was a different Hoffmann company.

targhediferro

Well done Wendax! Isetta is actually the connection I had in my mind between Bmw and Hoffmann.

Craig Gillingham

200-O : Is a Troll car made in Norway. (Thanks to Carnut)
200-S : Is the 1922 Wisconsin Special, made by Sig Haugdahl, who was Norwegian. The connection being Norway.

That's absolutely right!

200 i - Humber Snipe, made an all-terrain vehicle (Montgomery's staff car)

200 v - Land Rover all-terrain vehicle.

nicanary

The Humber Snipe (I) and Fiat Multipla (Q) both had occasional seats which folded down for extra capacity ???
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Wendax

E: Ford Consul Classic was also known as 109E, V: Land Rover 109. The connection is the "109".

Correct pair, but wrong hint.

Bingo...another point for you.

targhediferro

Well, the only lasting thing to discover is the connection between Humber Snipe 1936 and Fiat 600 multipla (the picture shows an American market model, but it doesn't mean). Double point if discovered by a Rookies.

So fair, so good...and Hiawatha completed this quiz.
