What do we see here ? And from when ?

It's the Westenrieder-Maserati. It was built for Egon Brutsch using what is reputed to be an Alfa Romeo military vehicle chassis and the engine from the ex-Paul Pietsch Maserati 6C-34. It is shown winning at Karlsruhe in 1948.
I meant to say, officially it was entered as an EBS.

You are completely correct. My source says 1949 but 1948 could be right as well. A point for you
