For one point: Where was this picture taken, and when?
Only a correct, complete and specific answer will earn a point; tag-on's to other guesses will not. So, be specific and complete!

Ok. Is the track near Seattle?
Not too far from there
is it the track the Aurora Speedbowl?
"Aurora Speedbowl" led me to a complete answer. The Aurora Speed Bowl in Edmonds, WA. Picture taken in 1936 (By the hand-written caption on the bottom).
Thank you for the puzzle, I've learned a lot about historic racing in this area.
1936 was the opening year for the track, and it also carried the names "Seattle Speed Bowl", "Aurora Speedway", and "Playland Stadium".
The former location of the 1/2 mile track is within the boundaries of the city of Seattle. It is strange to think, that most of the parking lot in that strip mall at 130th and Aurora (Hwy 99) used to be a race track.
nice, congrats. Should've put the space between speed and bowl.
Seattle Speed Bowl is correct, though it's in what is now Edmonds, WA
Congratulations, Cuda. Looks like I went back to sleep a little too soon. :( A good job of sleuthing.
I'm not sure how "Edmonds" enters into it. 130th and Aurora (Hwy 99) is in North Seattle. Heading north on Aurora, at 145th you enter the city of Shoreline. Past Shoreline, you eventually encounter small parts of Edmonds, but mostly Lynnwood past 200th. As far as I can discover, Edmonds never extended as far south as 130th.
It's from a Seattle news site. The article places the track at 82nd Avenue West & 230th Street Southwest.
I'll PM you the link.
