Can I ask where the car is from?  Right hand drive suggests Britain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or another Commonwealth country and we know it isn't Britain or new Zealand.  But an engine capacity in cubic inches suggests the USA.

It's Australian, but I would be pretty sure the engine is American.  Australian versions of US cars were common in Oz, and used the same engines as their American counterparts I believe, so there are lots of American V8s there.
