Can you correctly identify this vehicle?...make, model and coachbuilder.

richard cuyler

The base vehicle is the most excellent Ford Taunus Kombi FK1250. In my opinion one of the best vehicles Ford Germany ever produced. 8) 8) But what this one has been converted to, I have no idea - are those curtains inside?  A hearse perhaps?

targhediferro

Of course it is a Ford Taunus FK 1250 Combi...I don't think it's an hearse, more probably an ambulance.  I need the name of the coachbuilder.

Is it a Taunus FK1000 Camping Bus by Westfalia? Seems to me that the FK1250 no longer had simifores for turn signals.

targhediferro

You should be right...I think it is a FK 1000 base. But not by Westfalia.

The semaphores disappeared at Ford's Eilfrachter in 1958, so it has to be a FK 1000. The interior coachwork came from Berwi Carrosseriefabriek in Winschoten.

A correct answer, and another point for you.
