And those here are from the early 1920s.

I think it must be the 1924 Avus race:

I have never heard about Bob race car as other many brands from Germany and It is difficult for me finding info in German pages but I have found some information  about cars that races that race in Avus 1923, there were two teams with 3 cars involved NSU and HAG so maybe the other cars could be HAG because I think NSU were easy to recognize for you.

In Klaus Arth's book "NSU Automobile" you can find a picture of the 1923 NSU team. Those were different cars with oval radiators, having the starter numbers 14, 16 and 20.

Right - meanwhile I´ve found a photo of one of the NSU racing cars from 1923 at the Avus.
So maybe the other cars were HAG´s...??

Another picture of a Bob racecar at the Avus, said to be from 1922. The car at the right end seems to be the same one as in the second picture of reply #16, just with a different starting number.
