It's the Case Special Super Speedster, also featured here: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=12883.0
Locked for you to complete. ;)
Files attached meanwhile.
Mr. Russ Case a conducter wasn't that excited by USAmerican post war cars, so, he made his own.
He paid $ 15.022 for this. Base car was a plain military Jeep that he equipped with an one piece fibreglass body and a bubble windshield of Plexiglass.
My source says $15,200, but the price was not part of the puzzle requirement. A point for you!
I wonder if this car doesn't leak from underneath...
What's this, and when - for 1 point ? :)

I think the car is called the "Beast"
The car was shown at the 1951 Bridgehamptom Cup Race, as a tow-car.
The side of the car was promoting "Grand Prix Motors..Unique Motor Cars of Quality".
The car have a Jeep engine.
That´s the only info I have.
Yes ,it's the car !
But my source gives another solution :o
Reminds me of this one although it misses the bubble top:

Ok, "Case Special Super Speedster" by Russ Case. ?
OK , Case Special Super Speedster" by Russ Case 1951( perhaps modified by Flajole 1954 ? )
1 point for you ! :)
The Case Special is technically a completely different car than Flajole's Forerunner. The bumper treatment and the overall shape speaks more for the Case Special in my opinion.
Merged
