What car is this, where was it built, and where was the photograph taken?

AlexFrance

It's the recreation of the Bugatti Royale prototype, chassis 41.100, unveiled at Molsheim at the HardtMuhle in sept 2011. It was made by Hevec Classics in the Netherlands.

And the point goes to our AlexFrance for the correct answer.

The recreation was built using a Packard touring body, like the original prototype.  It is said to use the long frame rails from the original prototype.  The frame was damaged after an accident, and the serial number plate 41.100 was assigned to a standard Royale chassis.

So there are bits form the original car in it. That makes it so much more special. :)
