It turns out this is a re-post.
If one of the newer Experts want to ID it then you have a few days.  If no-one does (not the one who ID'd it last time!) then it won't progress to the Pros but will be merged or deleted.

Is it from the UK?

And if yes, could it be based on a Jaguar?

Yes it's British, but nothing to do with Jaguar.

If those are ford wheels then is it a pilot/v8 base?

Just solved a SACO puzzle looking for a truck in a Wendax puzzle and a few minutes later came across this car to my surprise.... It's a 1951 J.A.G. powered by a 3.6 litre V8 Ford engine

OK, you found my source and that is indeed what the caption says it is.
But the caption is wrong!  This car is not a J.A.G. and is unconnected with it.
Armed with what you know now the answer should be quite easy to find; I'll lock it for you until your next reply to do so.

Knowing that it's not a JAG, doesn't help a lot finding out what it actually is. Could it be a Jensen spin-off ?

It's not a Jensen; nothing mainstream at all (if you'd call Jensen mainstream!)

No, but with the information established so far is should be quite easy to find it...

Probably easy if you know where to look.... I found the same pic on another well-known website and they also call t a JAG. Anyway, I have no clue so far, so please unlock

Experts have drawn a blank so it's time to merge this one now.
Although captioned on more than one website as a J.A.G. this car is indeed a one-off "Moore & Tye" with a Ford V8 Pilot engine.

I've re-attached 2 pictures to the original post but can't get the thumbnail to show up at all.
Maybe others can see it?
