the more I look at it,Im thinking EMW a lot of them had split wind shields ?

This is a Horch V8, probably a 830, bodied by Karosseriewerk Meerane, the former coachbuilder Hornig. It was commissioned by the East German film company DEFA. Construction started in 1947 and was finished in 1951. The design was by Erich Lüsebrink.
