Can you tell me which car was this chassis to become?

AlexFrance

It reads 'Diatto' on the grill so it must be one, unless it was used by a different maker in the end? Or was that chassis used in a particular race or event?

Didn't a Diatto form the basis of the first Maserati?

I made a mistake in retouching the picture...it's indeed a Diatto!  tell me the model and you'll get an easy point.

Well, the first Maserati was the Tipo 26.  As it was only 1.5 litres capacity, it can't be this car which is larger.

A Diatto type 30, maybe?

AlexFrance

Then it's probably a type 20 (or 20 a)?

Thanks for the point even if I don't deserve it, really!  :)
