That's the car, although I had it as from 1974; I'll have to look it up again!

I believe 1974 is correct - the license plate agrees.

All I had to do was look at the picture I used for the puzzle before painting out the '74!

I've found the car in Krause Publications' "American Dream Cars" and it is described as a 1974 model that was first shown at the Detroit Motor Show in late 1973. So I guess we are all correct indeed.

I look to Pat Foster's book "American Motors Corporation: The Rise and Fall of America's Last Independent Automaker". Foster is the go-to expert on things AMC.
