Me too. It's not the first time that I read this kind of cryptic message.
I'm not going to reveal my regular sources, but SACO has been taking quite a few recently from one place. It provides some really interesting puzzles, but trying to solve them will take a long time. You have to know where to look!

I know it...and it seems it's not a one-off
I've found it - it's called a Ford Falcon Special, first registered in April 1951. Obviously powered by a Ford 10hp engine.
Falcon GRP bodies were first made in 1957, so I've no idea whether this car has any connection with that company. As a matter of interest, this special was for sale at £595, which seems an awful lot of money for a car flat-out at 60mph. At the time, you could have bought a Bugatti or similar for the same money.

There are many minor differences, but the biggest one is that they have different registration numbers from around the same period!

I wonder if you kept a record of when this advert was published? I thought I had, but I can't seem to find it, and this information would be very useful for me...
It will have been a well-known motor sport magazine with a green cover, and extensive adverts in the back pages. As for the date, sorry. I have a very large collection, it would take me hours.
