Expectations are high for some Expertise!
Italian?
No.
It is a Morgan from 1955 or 1956, bodied by spanish coachbuilder Serra.
Well done again Franck, another bullseye!
I hope this is not a repost but I couldn't find it on a search.
Identify the make, model and coachbuilder for a point.
Volvo base?
I've just been informed that this is indeed a repost.
I'll therefore keep it open for the Rookies to have a go before I merge it.......
Simca?
Not Simca and to add a little more, the base car is not Swedish or French.
from Germany?
Not German - neither the base car or the coachbuilder.

That's a correct guess.....
......the designer
and the coachbuilder is Serra.
I'll LOCK it for you one more time only to come up with the make of British car it's based on.

Done!
On display at Autro Retro in Barcelona last weekend:
One for the experts. What car is this and who built the body?
French ? Simca ?
It looks as the Morgan Plus 4 re-bodied by Serra, built in 1955 and rebodied in 1956.

You mean this?:

Yes, it looks a repost, but the picture is new and a lot better, I've seen that car in the Auto Retro exhibition last 7th of December in Barcelona, and took several pictures of it, this was the reason to recognize it immediately.
I'll merge this one then?
Yes, is correct to be merged, but in any case I believe to be worty with a point as the picture from the rear doesn't appears in the previous puzzle...

OK, that's really up to Barrett as it's his puzzle so we'll wait for him to respond then I'll merge it afterwards.
Do it's any reason to keep this puzzle open?

It's due to be merged but it's barrett's decision regarding the point hence have left it for him to deal with on his (eventual!) return.
If he doesn't return in the next 2 or 3 weeks I'll decide and sort it out, but that is a bit of a last resort and much prefer the puzzle owner to do it if possible.
It looks like Barrett has abandoned his puzzles again, although he does still log in regularly.
I'm therefore awarding luisps a point for this one and merging it.
Thank you.
