What's this, built by whom from where and powered by what - for 1 point?:

Looks like an American 'replica', probably with a nice juicy V8 under that elongated bonnet.

I can't believe that nobody's bothered with this one - it just took me 1 minute to find.

Built by Gary Hogue of Horse Cave, Kentucky. Powered by a Chevrolet 360ci. The intention was to build a recreation of a roadgoing roadster-style race car.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

That's it, yes.  I was amazed it got through to the Pro's.  Obviously it just didn't catch anyone's imagination on its way there!
