Not exactly a re-post but close..
What is it, from when, for 1 point?:

ANYONE FOUND GIVING ANSWERS OBTAINED BY USING GOOGLE SEARCH BY IMAGE MAY BE BANNED FOR AN INDETERMINATE PERIOD, AND THIS PUZZLE IS ONLY OPEN TO THOSE WHO HAVE EXPRESSED THEIR AGREEMENT TO THAT IN THE THREAD IN THE NEWS AND INFORMATION SECTION.

is L3S considered a different model?  there were two types.

No, I don't have it as an 'L'...
I tried to check my facts and was reasonably sure it's a different letter!

That's what I was looking for, yes.  It seems to be a slightly different model..
No links are allowed in the Puzzles sections I'm afraid, even though that is a well known site; there are no exceptions.

I think your source is wrong..
Zato was built only two versions:   L3 and L3S.

Although this car does feature on several sites described as a Z3, I think they are all compounding the original error..
There appear to have been just 6 Zatos built, 5 of them the L3 with a 90 bhp Audi engine then this one single car with a 140 bhp engine, which is named the L3S.

I've amended the title but not merged the puzzle with the original L3 puzzle, as this is strictly speaking a different model with only the one built!
