Experts?
it's a 1959 drawing by GM designer Bill Porter

That's right.
Can you enlarge a little on what it's described as though?
Locked for you!
if you ask me for which GM brand it was intended, I presume Pontiac, but I have no certainty

No, I don't know of a brand either.
But it was described as a proposal for a GM ********* Sports Car.
Please fill in the blanks!
(Tip: finding another photo of it would probably give you the answer).
Honestly, no idea. 'Affordable', perhaps?;-)

No, but I think I'll give you this and tell you since you have identified what it is and who did it, as I asked.
I found another picture, below, which said it had Gullwing doors and describing it as the GM Gullwing Sports Car!
Although it looks almost identical to the puzzle picture there are slight differences on the sides so it may be that it's a different version and only this other one was a Gullwing proposal, hence I'm calling the puzzle solved.
Well done!
very nice! Didn't know about this second drawing. Remember Shinoda and Lapine sitting in a wooden frame testing a similar opening solution, but Porter's drawing precedes that. Thanks for showing it!
