This is just one of many fabulous illustrations in the 1959 book Sports Cars of the Future, by Strother MacMinn. This one was called the LeMans Special. If you ever see a copy of this book available, it's definitely worth having.

That's right.
Very nice and IMO better looking than the actual Le Mans that was made.
I'll have to keep a lookout for the book.
