There is something strange about that picture... It looks like a 3d rendering of a low quality model (no offense meant). Am I being completely wrong?  :)

It's not a model - I selected an image very badly. It's a rendering of a photograph made to look like an oil painting, I think. The picture is based on an actual photograph which I have seen.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

This is the Bec 1, built in 1951 by Adrien Bec with a Gilera Saturno engine for the 500cc class
