What is this car, and who is driving it?
Experts?
British?
:bump: Any questions, anyone?
Well-known marque like AC ?

Not a well-known marque, so not an AC.
This one is pretty obscure, so it's time for the Pros.
Perhaps a Winco? If I'm right, I'll have to search for the driver.

Bingo! LOCKED for you to find the driver.
This is not a well-known marque - it goes to show how much good APmembers know about our hobby!
Thanks for the lock, and the kind words, Andy.
Actually, finding the driver was much easier than I expected. Just Googling Winco and a couple of other key words, and there it was. The driver (and car designer) is George Bullock shown in the car at Brooklands in 1914.
Yes. A well-earned point. It's the 1914 Whit-Monday Brooklands Light Car Handicap.
The cars were built by Stringer Engineering, and after WW1 were known as Stringer-Winco.
I think this could be the same car. Pictured at Saltburn beach races where it won its class.
