Please tell me what this is, for one point.

3AF, if you prefer?

You've definitely found the correct car, and I will now LOCK the puzzle whilst I investigate. I had the car down with a different designation, but I now believe that my source was misleading. I admit that I don't know much about Japanese racing of that period, and there is not a great deal of information on the internet. The usually reliable source of which I am a member has a good thread, but unfortunately the links and photos have been deleted since it appeared.

I'll award the point if you tell me which company built the car.

it's EVA, desingers' Kenji Mimura initiative.

Sorry, "thewarlord", I have been using incorrect information. You are of course completely correct, and you have been right all along. I am very sorry indeed, and apologise to you and all AP members for being stupid.

As I said before, my knowledge of Japanese cars is not good, and I had this car on file under the wrong name. I had believed something written on the internet, which is always a dangerous thing to do if you don't check the source.

One very well-deserved point to you.
