It's possible. The car was made from various parts in a country where the Ford would be readily available.

southamerican?

Yes and no. The original car is not from there, but the car was recreated in South America.

The car is a 1930 Rolland-Pilain Grand Prix car which was up for auction last year.  According to the auction information, it has an all aluminum body, and is powered by a Continental Red Seal straight eight.

Another one solved by the experience of the Pros. The point is yours.

There was no Rolland-Pilain GP car of that year. I have no information about what the chassis really consists of, but the marque did install  Continental/Lycoming engines in that period. The car was for sale in Argentina, and I guess that that's where this speedster body originated. These American engines were first fitted from 1930, so that tallies, but the last GP cars from R-P were built in 1923, and this chassis looks bigger than those.
