Indeed it does, but this is Autopuzzles, so it's a bit harder than that.

It's Jason by Godfrey Messerby (now Sir Godfrey) driven here by Roy Hunt. 'JASON' from July, August, September, October and November over which months the car was designed and built in 1952.

My source spells the name as Messervey, but that's of no consequence. One well-earned point to you.

It was originally powered by a Triumph motor with homebuilt fuel injection using a CAV diesel pump (Messervey worked for them), but I believe it now runs a JAP. In the photo you can see a small hump on the top of the nose, and that is a tunnel housing the rev counter.
