I just did some further research and I believe its a 1916 Perry 11.9 made in Tyseley, Birmingham.

Bean bought out the Perry company in 1918 which I guess is why the cars look so similar.

Exactly right. It's actually a 1914 model, but you're close enough for the point. Just to make the inter-relations even more complex, the Perry company produced this car whilst being run by a member of the Bayliss-Thomas family.

There are hundreds, nay thousands, of marques we haven't had on Autopuzzles yet. Strike the Perry.

I'm not really much into British cars of that age, but I found it as a Perry 8 hp, not a 11.9 hp. Can you confirm one or the other?

It seems to be 1794 cc  which would be the 11.9 h.p.

Definitely the 11.9hp model. The 8hp twin was built from 1912 onwards, and was a lot smaller and old-fashioned in appearance. I don't want to upload an image because it could be a future puzzle.
