What is this car? I need the base car, what it was known as, and the year the car was built.

It looks very similar to a special called Terror that was built in the 1930s.

However that is probably wrong as it was based on a Frazer Nash...... :-\

Sorry, completely off-track. However..... the base marque did begin with an "F".

You're getting closer. It was built on a 1927 chassis, but the conversion was later, and I have a different name for the builder.

All right. So it is known as the "FIAT 509 Adams Special" and was built in 1935 using a 1927 chassis with a 1100 cc., 30-hp engine.

Yes! All correct answers - built by Frank Adams in Australia, but I notice that it is being photographed these days at Retro events in Germany, complete with German plates.

I have seen the same pictures taken in Germany, the only visual change being the exhaust pipe.
