I've just noticed that it's left-hand-drive, so not British.  Is it French?

Was the car based on an existing French car? (as opposed to a custom built chassis)

oko94

I have to check my source tonight but as far as I remember it wasn't meant to be based on an existing car.

luisps

May it be the cabriolet version of the Rosengart Ariette of 1953/54?

oko94

No relation with Rosengart.

According to my source, this car didn't include any component from any other manufacturer, it was meant to be a fully original effort.

Yes ! No relation with a well known make.

This was supposed to be the 1951 Vautrin, a voiturette of 2.65 m length, powered by engines ranging from 125 to 350 cc.

oko94

Absolutely ! One more point for you.
