The correct year could be 1958... and the car itself... "coupé 2/4 posti"...

No, it's not coupé or prototipo; it's actually a proper name (look that up in your dictionary!)

Is the missing name you're looking for another car make ? So for example Fiat-Osca 1100 Pininfarina ?

..as this is the right answer!

Here is the car on display at the Turin Show - I believe in 1959 but maybe a little earlier; it's difficult to ascertain:

I'm surprised that nobody (including me) has found the answer earlier, as Abarth is a fairly obvious name as far as special Fiats are concerned. That's probably the Autopuzzles syndrome : we tend to think at first about obscure and quirky stuff.

Yes, I was really very surprised that Iluvatar didn't get this one straight away once it was established it was a Pininfarina Fiat 1100 TV that was modified as something else.  But I think it's hard (impossible?) to find this car on the Internet; the picture was not sourced from the 'Net.

I have only found the non-Abarth pictures on the web, as well as in my Pininfarina book(s). Quite a rare picture indeed !

1100 TV was discontinued in 1957. I think this was based on a regular 1100/103 D.

Abarth would have been my next reply, but oko94 was just ahead of me....
