Wise choice...
Kings County Automobile Company, incorporated in Brooklyn, New York in 1903.
8555:KLINGENBERG

*sigh*

Another pass. I can find multiple references to an engine/axle he designed, but no car.

..it can be enough, tell me more.  ;)

"The one real novelty in this line is the device of Professor Klingenberg, exhibited by the Motor Babrik Pasig-Munich, in which the motor, inclosed (sic) in a dust-proof sheath, rests upon and is geared directly to the rear axle of the carriage. The axle is in two sections, connected at the center by a complicated devise, the details of which are show in the foregoing cut, and which provide for differential motion as between the two hinder wheels and couplings for different rates of speed."
I was looking for a date or a full name but it's the same man (I think).
Prof. Georg Klingenberg built a 'pioneer' car around 1898. There were a series of prototypes untill NAG arrived. All that according to a book but I suspect they were actually built by Allgemeiner Automobil-Gesellschaft Berlin GmbH.

Are you referring to the Symetric-Paris from 1953 ?  My next choice will be #11600.  Thanks.
Not that.

Is it the Breese Paris Teardrop Roadster from 1911 ? If it's not, I give up.  Maybe #11810 ?  Thanks.
Not that.
Some HUGOT cars were built under licence as Paris around 1899.

The article I pulled that from was from 1902. It was close to 1903, but I though it might not be the right guy. Three different publications had the same story; none included his first name. Maybe I'll look some more over the weekend.

Thanks for giving me a second go at it.  :)

After selling several models of automobiles in their stores since the turn of the century, the Koehler Sporting Goods Company in New York City decided in 1910 to build a better model car than what they were selling. They started building both cars and trucks under the name of Koehler. The Koehler automobile was a 40-horsepower, four-cylinder touring model on a 112-inch wheelbase. In 1913, the company dropped the automobile in favor of producing only trucks. They were made until 1923.

This Force was a 7.5hp, built by C. P. McClellan from Fall River, Massachusetts around 1905.

I supposed it could have been an early American or British car, but had no ideas beyond that.

OK, let's try #15080 then.
