To get the point you have to tell me:
Model, Coachbuilder, Year & Place where this pic was taken.
No lock for partial answers ;)
(It's just as easy as it seems...I like the picture and would like to share it)
Definitely one of the more difficult puzzles I have seen here so far :lmao: :lmao:

Why?
When it was first posted, there was no photo.

There's got to be a catch....
Alfa Romeo 6C3000CM in its original design, by Carozzeria Colli, maybe in their workshops 1952?
Oh, I see now (the picture too ;D).
I think it's one of the easiest that could reach this board ;)

All correct but the place & the year!
Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 CM at Pininfarina in 1956, before the original Colli body got replaced by the Superflow body
Not at Pininfarina and not 1956.
Then it's 1953, and at Portello.
Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 CM at Boano in 1955 before it was was rebodied for president Perón of Argentina?

Not 1955 and not Boano.

Not 1953, Portello is right but generic...
Is it the prototype from 1950? And the Alfa Corse workshop.
Reparto Esperienze at Portello?
This picture came up whilst I was Googling for something else this morning but I ignored it thinking "We've had that before.."!
And I had to wipe my History an hour ago as something on a Government website wasn't working so they asked me to wipe it and try again!
Grrrr!

really? I thought I found an original pic! I'll post the unmodified version soon!
C'mon, only the year is missing.
1951?
D'ho!
I was going to lock it for Nicanary but did make it in time!
Well, he found Make model and coachbuilder....you, the place and the year.
I guess a point each won't hurt anyone!
Grazie!
Thanks for the point PJ. I note that I last posted just after 5.00pm GMT and I have not seen Carnut's post at 5.20pm - so that must be about the time I lost my WiFi connection. I have been unable to use the internet all that time until now.
Very frustrating, and I didn't really deserve the point, because you made it quite clear that the solver would have to answer correctly all your questions. Once again, thanks.
