Title: Solved -PJ617- Alfa Romeo 6C3000CM by Colli at Portello's Reparto Esperienze in 1951
Post by: Paul Jaray on May 13, 2014, 09:30:19 AM
To get the point you have to tell me:

Model, Coachbuilder, Year & Place where this pic was taken.

No lock for partial answers  ;)

(It's just as easy as it seems...I like the picture and would like to share it)

There's got to be a catch....

Alfa Romeo 6C3000CM in its original design, by Carozzeria Colli, maybe in their workshops 1952?

Oh, I see now (the picture too  ;D).

I think it's one of the easiest that could reach this board  ;)

Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 CM at Pininfarina in 1956, before the original Colli body got replaced by the Superflow body

Not at Pininfarina and not 1956.

Not 1955 and not Boano.

Not 1953, Portello is right but generic...

Is it the prototype from 1950? And the Alfa Corse workshop.

This picture came up whilst I was Googling for something else this morning but I ignored it thinking "We've had that before.."!
And I had to wipe my History an hour ago as something on a Government website wasn't working so they asked me to wipe it and try again!
Grrrr!

I was going to lock it for Nicanary but did make it in time!
Well, he found Make model and coachbuilder....you, the place and the year.
I guess a point each won't hurt anyone!

Thanks for the point PJ. I note that I last posted just after 5.00pm GMT and I have not seen Carnut's post at 5.20pm - so that must be about the time I lost my WiFi connection. I have been unable to use the internet all that time until now.

Very frustrating, and I didn't really deserve the point, because you made it quite clear that the solver would have to answer correctly all your questions. Once again, thanks.
