A dignified appearance.

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

Won't last long with the pros.

Deasey (later Siddeley-Deasey), from about 1910?

Wendax

Yes, locked for you. I have to look up my source tonight, whether I need some more details for the point.

According to the back side of this photo, it is a Siddeley-Deasy, but the mentioned date for the first registration must be wrong. Perhaps one of our British members can tell us when AH 1085 was issued? Perhaps 1915 instead of 1925?

Meanwhile one more point for you.

Thanks Gerd.  After some more study, I'm convinced that it is a Siddeley-Deasy, perhaps an 18/24 from sometime in the time frame 1912-1915.  I think my earlier date was probably influenced by the ornate style of coachwork.  The initial registration date does seem unlikely, although this might somehow be a result of  events relating to WWI.  Perhaps a new car sat in storage for a long period, although 1925 seems a bit of a reach.
