Might man 10 be an early photograph of Paul Doumer, later to be the President of France, and thus indirectly connected with Car i (Hoover Bonetti Circus Renault Estafette by Carrossier Pourtout 1959), as the Pourtout workshop, where it was built, was located on Avenue Paul Doumer?

targhediferro

I'm impressed for you fantasy...but man number 10 is not Paul Doumer, sorry.

I don't think that the link between i & 10 has been formally established, nor has g & 1, so I would propose a link between i & 1.  It has been established that i is Hoover Bonetti Circus Renault Estafette by Carrossier Pourtout 1959, and I suggest man 1 might be Georges Paulin, a designer and associate of Marcel Pourtout, so the link between i and 1 would be Marcel Pourtout.

targhediferro

Sorry no, number 1 is not George Paulin; I may give you this little clue, the pairs I-10 and G-1 are correct.

Man 1 - Mieczysław Debicki?
Yes, he is...he took part in the Radwan project while he worked for the Pzinz factory.
A point for you.
Now the task is to identify man number 10.

Might man 10 be an early photograph of Georges Clemenceau, later to be the Prime Minister of France. and thus indirectly connected with Car i (Hoover Bonetti Circus Renault Estafette by Carrossier Pourtout 1959), as Clemenceau was a customer of Marcel Pourtout?

targhediferro

Not Clemenceau, sorry.

Let's try a different angle.  Is man 10, who is connected to Monsieur Marcel Pourtout, a French man who was involved in the automobile industry either as a manufacturer or driver?

Might man 10 be an early photograph of Emile Darl'Mat who worked with Georges Paulin and Marcel Pourtout, and is thus indirectly connected with Car i (Hoover Bonetti Circus Renault Estafette by Carrossier Pourtout 1959)?

targhediferro

Sorry, not Monsieur Darl'mat.

SACO

Louis Renault ,in his youth ?

targhediferro

Not Luis Renault;  you have to dig in the Youth of Monsieur Pourtout.

4popoid

Might man 10 be an early photograph of Count Jules-Albert de Dion for whom Marcel Pourtout worked in 1919, and is thus indirectly connected with Car i (Hoover Bonetti Circus Renault Estafette by Carrossier Pourtout 1959)?

targhediferro

Not him but you're on the right path.

SACO

Perhaps Manessius ?

Ta-da...yes, he is Monsieur Louis Antoine Krieger.  A very well deserved point for you, and this quiz may be stored in the solved section.
