I'd like to know the base car, and the name of the man who realized this car.
South American two-wheel drive Jeep underneath this rather handsome bodywork?
It's a car built is South America, but, according to my source the base car is not a Jeep (even if some part of the body actually come from a Willys for sure).
Maybe a Chevrolet underneath? ??? The hood ornament suggests a 1940-ish Chevrolet.
The base car is said to be different from Chevrolet and earlier from 1940.
It's a real 'bitsa', but I'm pretty sure it has a Jeep chassis (maybe even 4x4, not sure, but front wheel hub looks as if it may be driven), which could date from 1938. The long half-elliptic front springs are of the type Jeep would have used. The body is a mystery, but that hood ornament does look Chev-esque to me. Don't lock, though, as this is all I have. :)
I must confirm my previous answers...no Chevrolet connection, earlier base, according to a long article about the man who built this car.
Up.
The chassis of this is a vehicle is a 1923 Dodge, believe it or not.
It was realized by a Senhor Danilo Michel of Brasil who apparently was a master body builder and converted many very odd machines into something completely different looking.

Absolutely right...well done Bill!
