Already a styling remnant when it appeared.

For one point, please respond and identify this vehicle and its coachbuilder.

Welcome to AutoPuzzles, 58_spyder!

It is an Opel Blitz, and the coachbuilder is almost correct, but it is not Vidal & Sohn which was the company that built the Tempo vans. You are very close though. Locked for you to find the right coachbuilder.

I was quite sure that Vidal had made this one, I read that Carrosserie Reichert (Berlin) build a convertible for The Netherlands, but I do not believe it was a "regular" vehicle.
Miesen build various Ambulances and Fire trucks, and based on the volume of the Convertibles made they would be my next guess.

You are right with Vidal, but it is not Vidal & Sohn. The company doing this bodywork was xxxxxxx Vidal & Co.
Give me the missing first name of Mr. Vidal and the point is yours. Still locked.

Yes, Herbert Vidal was the brother of Oscar Vidal, whose company Vidal & Sohn built the Tempo vans. Herbert Vidal & Co was taken over by Ackermann-Fruehauf in the 1970s.
