Nice styling.
For one point, please respond and identify this ambulance.

Wow, finally............
I have stared at this car for a month and I thought I had the answer immediately......
Must be a Horch 830 BL.
But then I realized the radiator surround was much more narrow than a Horch and had to start all over again.
My current opinion is that this is a Steyr, most likely a 430, from 1933-1935.
In spite of hours of investigation, I cannot come up with the coach builder but perhaps that is enough if correct.
Bill
Bill, you are correct with identifying it as a Steyr, but it is not a 430. Locked for you to find the correct model, no coachbuilder needed.
I have found only one more possible choice although it seems a different vehicle.
740 model perhaps.
Bill
No, 430 was better guess, just a bit too early. ;)
Sigh...............
Another hour and now it appears it may be a 530............
Bill
Correct you are.

Thank you for the opportunity. It has been a long time in between "Solutions" for me.
Thank you also for the second, excellent photo. Never seen that one before either.

Hi Gerd:
Thank you so much for the additional photograph. As you well know, I am a big fan of the styling of such vehicles of the mid 1930's up to 1940 or so.
One question, I note that most of your photos seem to be "beauty shots" that normally are taken by coachbuilders and usually they have a plaque by the vehicle advertising their name. Do you know who built this/these vehicle/s?
Bill
My source usually does not reveal many details. When a coachbuilder's name is mentioned, I make it part of the puzzle.
